Tonight was much easier. It only took Emily about 10 minutes to go to sleep. She only REALLY cried for about 5 minutes. She knew what it meant when I sat her in her bed. She immediately got mad and started crying... so she knows it means bedtime!

Lynnsey is going to Sea World tomorrow... I hope she has SUPER fun!

Adam was accepted into the Paul Mitchell school today! YEAH! He starts in late September! He will do FABULOUS!

Today is July 21st. Can you believe it?

Last night, I put Emily in her bed at 9pm. She cried for 21 minutes and then she went to sleep for the entire night! It was so hard, I had to call Adam's mom... I said help me...!

Lynnsey is at her Grammy and Grampy's for the week. She is going to Sea World and to a water park... she will have a BLAST!

She comes home on July 28th! YEAH!!!! I miss her SO much!

So... I did it. Last night I rocked Emily for over 20 minutes and she just cried and she wanted to play... I kept saying NO, it is night time. She wanted to play with the dog, she wanted to play with my face...

So... she had a clean diaper, she had a full tummy, she had everything she needed to go to bed... So I put her in her bed and let her cry it out!

It took 17 minutes. Then she was asleep... It was magic!

It was hard!

My big girl, Lynnsey! She is at Grammy's until Tuesday, and then she is HOME! YEAH!!!! I miss her! She is having fuN!

Well, life without kids...

Hmmm... We have had no children for 1 day. It is strange... I surrounded myself with children.... I took Kody to the mall... hung out at the water park with Kayce and Matthew... and KK! Then Frances, came over with her 2 kids... What can I say...?

Overall, we had a Fabulous weekend! YEAH!

July 10th!

My little sister Kenadie is 2 ! Her birthday party is tomorrow in SanAntonio... That is what we will be doing tomorrow! She is having a BARNEY party... Remember... the big purple dinosaur!


Today is July 10th... Emily slept ALL night again last night... YEAH!





My inlaws are taking Emily for 1 week... that means Adam and I will have NO kids for 1 week. I am not sure we will know what to do... We will enjoy peace and each other... I am sure... but no crying or "MOMMY, DADDY!"





I think we are going to take 1 day off and just spend it with each other... I think we may drive to Fredricksburg to get some fresh peaches... or float the river...

Daddy had the goods last night!!!

He got Emily to sleep before 10pm... and she slept ALL night!

He took her night light out of her room, and he turned off her lullaby music! Who knew that was it???

I need help... moms and dads...

Emily is 1 yr old. She has been sleeping through out the night for a long time now. Recently, past 3 weeks, she is waking up EVERY night.

I need help... Yes, she is teething, I have tried Orajel, Tylenol, Motrin... and she is still waking up.

Does anyone know how to help me get her to sleep and keep my sanity???

Today, July 7th!

So... today is July 7th. Can you believe Lynnsey will be 8 in two days? It is SO hard to believe how fast it has gone...
Emily is still not sleeping well, it is killin me... she is teething! It is sad, orajel seems to only help for a minute, Motrin and Tylenol don't necessarily help, just make her BLAH!!!
I am very tired today... Adam and I have been working out...
I have been concentrating on Cardio, and he has been doing weights... MAN thing! I like going to the YMCA, because it is SO family oriented! It makes it fun.
